Because of changes within UK law with regard to the Fraudulent Mediums Act which brought into force the new UCPD. It is now necessary for all Spiritualist Organisations to display this Disclaimer Clearly in order that visitors can understand their rights and be informed upon what Spiritualism can provide and what it can not promise.

It is the belief amongst all Spiritualists that Spiritualism is a way of life. It has been equally recognised in British Law with all main-stream religions and given the same rights enabling our churches to train Ministers and hold weddings, funerals and naming services. Yet the government has also recently seen fit to place the Spiritualist Faith under the banner of Entertainment. A step which has been extremely controversial and hotly contested in Spiritual circles. It has been said that if Spiritualism is classed as an entertainment because of the nature of all religions that rely heavily upon pure faith rather than proven scientifc fact should that not mean ALL religious beliefs are placed under the banner of Entertainment. If that is not the case, then it would appear that Spiritualism may be subject to discrimination.
