It is so good to find family records of loved ones long gone whose memory lives on only through the stories told to you whilst growing up.  Although you will never see them, it actually feels as if you can touch them physically across hands of time and bring them home to your heart when you can see where they were born and where they lived it really puts your own existance into clear perspective.  When I think I am who I am because of them and their determination to make a better life and a stronger future; I feel so proud to be part of their circle of life.

 

You will always find suprising events in family history when you delve very deeply into their past lives.  It makes you relealise stretching across the ages your family may have settled in many countries and worked many lands so you don't come from one culture or one country but you have benefitted from many.  When you look closely within the mirror you might see other faces staring right back, for your DNA displays in built traits from all your relatives of the past that shape the way you are now.
